I created this tag to participate in a challenge and I love the bright background contrasting with black details.

Here is the link to the challenge at Tag You’re It and the inspiration image:

I used Mini Distress Ink Pads to make a blended background. I think that these colors are great for summer. I also die-cut leaves and flower from vellum. The banner on the tag says “Thanks a bunch”. Heat embossing with white powder looks great on black cardstock. I tied just the same black and white twine because I think it is perfect. And here is my tag:
