Tutorial: How To Make a Gauze Flower

Today I have a quick tutorial showing how to make a flower with gauze fabric. I’m using medical cotton gauze and color it with mists.

List of supplies:

• cotton gauze
• color mists or watercolor paints
• glue gun

Step 1. Cut out a stripe of gauze. Mine is 6″x2″.

Step 2. Color with any kind of mists or paints. Let dry.

Step 3. Roll the stripe into a lose tube.

Step 4. Form a spiral shape starting from the center. Hide the ends underneath.

Step 5. Turn over and fix with a glue gun.

When the glue has cooled the flower is finished. Here is what I’ve got:

You can add a brad or bead for a center. I used gauze flowers recently on a card:
