As Tim Holtz class continues I’ve tried some more techniques. They involve using stencils, distress ink, stamps.
One was created with layering stencils in mixed-media style. White acrylic paint works as a resist surface so when you apply Distress Ink the image stands out. Still Archival ink is good for stamping on top of both Distress Ink and acrylic paint.
Another tag was an experiment with smudge stamping technique. I’m using watercolor paper for these tags. And the ink smudged too much on the paper. I added some light tone and this created thе soft look.
