Digest of October 2013 Projects

I wanted to share some projects from October 2013 that were not shown on the English version of my blog yet. I have more publications in Russian at www.scrapbookingblog.ru, but I’m trying to update this blog too.

Just to remind, last month I was taught some great new techniques with new products by Tim Holtz himself in the live online-class “Creative Chemistry 102”. You could see some posts I made during the class. This was very informative and fun. Now I’m a THCC 102 graduate! 🙂

Here is the card that I made using gears with rust effect. I made them when I was trying out this technique and decided to place them on a card. I thought they will look good on a men’s card. The writing says “Good luck”.

The next card was made with fall colors combo. Grey and blue are dull colors but orange brings in the brightness. I also used the new Distress Glitter which works totally great.

One more card and it happened to be a CAS card (CAS stands for Clean And Simple). I like different styles. Clean & Simple with lots of clear space and simple elements is one of my favorites.

My album project of the month is the Military Service Photo-album. It was a custom made scrapbook album. I was lucky to find khaki velvet fabric for the cover. I also attached a buckle. It was really difficult to work with thick fabric but the result was worth it.

That’s all for now. I will be showing more new projects on my blog soon.
