Embossing Techniques for THCC 102

Today I’ve learned so many new embossing techniques. I couldn’t wait to try them. Here are two ways to make your custom “metal” elements.

The shapes were die-cut out of grunge board using Big Shot. Then I used Distress Embossing Powder on gears to create rusted effect. Looks so realistic!

On the other shape I applied silver embossing powder by Ranger which made it already look like a piece of metal. After some more steps (let’s keep them secret 😉 ) the frame was looking like aged silver. Cool vintage effect.

I didn’t have enough time and all the supplies to try many more techniques demonstrated by Tim in this class. Still I will have access to the materials of Creative Chemistry 102 and will be able to revisit.
