Digest of January 2014 Projects

New year has started and I have some projects to show.  They include a photo frame, notebook, two albums, invitations and artist trading cards.

Here is a photo frame that I made from scratch. I added a bunch of golden decorations with leaves, acorn and pine cone. The frame is painted gold too. I’ve chosen a picture of my parents and me to place in this holiday frame.

This photo album was made to order. It was made to be presented to my customer’s grandmother on her birthday. The album keeps very old pictures that were copied from the original photographs.

I’ve made another a handmade notebook for myself. The cover is made of black faux leather. The cover is decorated with just a few metal embellishments from Tim Holtz. This will help keep the book good as new for longer time even when I carry it in my purse.

Another custom order is a series of invitations to a baby boy’s first birthday party. They are made in a form of baby panties. The idea is not new but I added some details like red bow ties.

One more baby project: Bright baby scrapbook album. It contains photos from the first 12 months of a little girl’s life and also has free space for some pictures taken at her first birthday party. I used a great collection of paper and embellishments by Echo Park called All About A Boy. And although the album is telling the story of a girl it went perfectly with colorful photos.

And finally I’m going to show you three ATCs. When I was creating them I had shabby chic in mind. The cards feature small vintage portraits. I thought they were cute and added some white lace and blue and cream flowers.

That’s all what I have to show for now. I will be back soon with more projects.
