“Morning Bird” CAS Card

When you don’t have much time for scrapbooking, CAS (clean and simple) card is your solution. I painted the little singing bird with markers and added sunbeams.

I like CAS style because it needs little time to create a card. But it doesn’t mean that you don’t need to plan. I was looking through my stamps and saw the singing bird. That is when I had the idea for this birthday card.

Sunbeams are made with Distress Ink and new Tim Holtz Layering Stencil. The bird, sunny circle and v-shaped banners are from the Hero Arts stamp-set that I’ve got from Simon Says Stamp as a prize about a year ago. I’m going to participate in the new Simon says… Keep It Clean and Simple challenge. I hope that I will be lucky and win again 🙂
